Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971 was a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She was a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politically slanted report regarding the 2012 Benghazi attack "the most erroneous mistake I've made in my 10 years of watching." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media organization) in the year 2019. [4] On January 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News offers a subscription-based streaming service. She informed Fox News in March 2022 that she had been "dumped". Logan worked during her studies as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989), then the Daily News (1990-1992). She joined Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as an executive producer. After four years, she began freelance journalism. Assignments as a reporter/editor/producer for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all assigned to her. Reporting on news events like the bombings in 1998 of the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania and the ongoing conflicts in Northern Ireland and the Kosovo war, she was employed by CNN.
